Hi Jean

Overall, your project looks great! You post updated and the newest information in your website. Students are motivated in learning and doing the activities. All the activities are well-organised and the links do work. The pictures look very nice and the presentation is attractive. Mix exercises are very interesting.
The principal of your project is training students' reading skills, is that right?

I think you assigned too much reading tasks for your students.
Here are somme suggestions:
1. Quiz: students read through one article then answer one question. There are 6 in total! All the questions are the same but differ in animals' name, students can read the keywords to answer the question but skip reading the article. It would be better if you could vary your questions.
2. Matching game was created the same problem.
3.One more point, your instructions are very clear in every section, however, the guideline of the crossword is not clear enough, I keep reading the article but I don't know how to do the crossword. It would be better if you can highlight some keywords, then students can learn or know more about how to locate the information. The learning sounds effective if you'd like your students to focus on some vacabularies.

Well done! Jean

In summary, I like the topic very much and I enjoy reading and completing the activites. Thanks for your help in PLD and technology course.

Keep in touch! I'll miss you!

Cheers

Hi Jean,

Congratulations on designing a great website!

I am so impressed by that animated tiger!

I also really like the matching exercise, with the pictures. I think that using pictures helps to activate information in the students mind.

I had a few questions about the the vocabulary exercise, which involved matching the scientific name to the known name of an animal. I wonder how relevant that information will be for your students?

I also thought that the educational websites that you added as links were brillant! I actually created a crocodile movie at one of the websites, what fun! I did wonder whether your yr 10 students would be interested in those games? Maybe they would, because I certainly did!

You did a great job!

Have you finished all of your assignments? I have two still going, but I will hand them in this friday.

Take care Jean,

Esther

Hello Jean,

First of all, wow, the animated tiger impresses me a lot! And also your project looks great to me: soft background color and well-designed activities. The main topic of this website is wild life in China, which is very attractive for me. Moreover, those animal activities are very interesting and insightful. However, I find that the crossword puzzle is quite difficult. After I read the article, I still cannot finish the exercise. As Maggie suggested, probably you need to highlight some keywords in the article. Overall, you did a great job! I have learnt a lot from you in this year! Thank you!

Cheers,
Yuki
